Care we cover

Care for the whole family, not just the youngest.

GoSit started with child care. Families kept asking for help with their parents too, so that is what we built.

Three steps, and nothing taken up front.

No subscription to browse, no fee to message, and no charge until your caregiver says yes.

Their age, what a good day looks like, and anything a caregiver should know. Private, and shared only with someone you book.

  2. 02

    Choose and meet someone

Compare checked caregivers nearby by rate, experience and certifications. Message them, and meet on video before you commit.

  3. 03

Book, and pay for the time worked

They confirm, check in when they arrive, and you are charged for the hours they were actually there.

Trust and safety

What stands behind the person at your door.

You are letting someone into your home to look after a person you love. Here is exactly what we check, and where our job stops.

How we keep it safe
  • Identity, matched to the person

Every caregiver proves who they are before they can be listed.

  • Screened for the care they offer

A vulnerable-sector check for care of people. Not optional, not skippable.

  • Your address and notes stay private

Shared only with the caregiver you booked, and only once they accept.

  • Meet first, inside GoSit

Video interviews happen on the platform and are recorded for safety.

Questions

If you do not see yours, ask us. A real person replies.

Read every answer
What does GoSit actually do?

GoSit is a marketplace. We help you find, check and book independent caregivers, and we handle messaging, scheduling and payment around the booking. The caregiver is not a GoSit employee, and the care itself is arranged between you and them.

Is it free to join?

Yes. Creating an account, browsing caregivers and messaging them costs nothing, and you are not charged until a caregiver confirms your booking. You see the full cost before you confirm.

What is checked before a caregiver appears in search?

For care of people, a caregiver has to pass identity verification and a vulnerable-sector check before they can be listed. For pet care only, it is identity verification and a criminal record check. Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are reviewed by our team before they show on a profile. Screening reduces risk, but it cannot promise a particular outcome.

Can I meet a caregiver before I book?

Yes. You can message them and ask for a video interview inside GoSit. Interviews are recorded for safety, and you are told that before you join. Please keep everything on the platform: arranging a call or meeting elsewhere puts you outside the protections GoSit provides.

Where does care take place?

Care for people, whether children, seniors or adults, happens at your home. The one exception is pet boarding, which takes place at the caregiver's home, and a caregiver's address is only shared with the family whose boarding booking they have accepted.

Ready when you are.

Whether you need care or want to give it, getting started takes a few minutes.
